If you haven’t heard by now, I am moderating a weekly sports Twitter chat on Tuesdays at 8pm. There is only one requirement: please hashtag all tweets with #SSsports. To find out more about the chat, click here. Also, be sure to check back tomorrow to see if you’ve made the highlights! For tonight’s #SSsports Twitter Chat, we will discuss the following topics:
1. MLB: Colby Rasmus demanded a trade two months ago, leading Albert Pujols to come out and criticize Rasmus. How much does this affect the Cardinals, who are fighting for a playoff spot?
2. NFL: Should the Patriots re-sign Randy Moss? Moss had a stellar training camp and was impressive in the preseason.
3. College Basketball: ESPN’s Doug Gottlieb praises the Syracuse recruiting strategy of targeting good team players who are dedicated to the system rather than top-rated prospects who look at college as a stopover for the NBA. Do you agree that this strategy can work in the long term?
