I am moderating a weekly sports Twitter chat on Tuesdays at 8pm. There is only one requirement: please hashtag all tweets with #SSsports. To find out more about the chat, click here. Also, be sure to check back tomorrow to see if you’ve made the highlights! For tonight’s #SSsports Twitter Chat, we will discuss the following topics:
1. NFL: After an 0-2 start, the Dallas Cowboys held a players-only team meeting. There are differing opinions as to whether the meeting will help. Clearly, the meeting isn’t a solution, but will it motivate the ‘Boys enough to overcome the 0-2 start? And, who’s to blame for the two losses?
2. NFL: The regular season has only been under way for two weeks, and QB controversy has already plagued nearly one-third of NFL teams. Carolina and Buffalo have already handed over the reigns to backups. Are Oakland, Philadelphia, and Tennessee next?
3. MLB: The Philadelphia Phillies are 16-3 in the month of September and 9-1 in their last 10 starts. They are heating up at the right time behind the stellar pitching of Cole Hamels and the rest of their aces. Amongst all NL teams in September, they are second in runs (112), second in OPS (.856), and tied for first with 195 hits. Can anyone in the NL beat the Phillies?
