The Texas Rangers are in the World Series. To honor their first World Series appearance, I present Amber Leigh, a hot 23-year-old Rangers fan who is currently living in Dallas, Texas. Baseball is her favorite sport, and she is lucky enough to have season tickets in the front row behind home plate.
Not only is she a full-time marketing associate for a commercial real estate auction company in Southlake, she’s also a part-time model and a full-time blonde. She writes The Blonde Side blog for the Dallas Cowboys Times and she just released a 2011 calendar called The Blonde Side Calendar, available at The Blonde Side Store.
The gorgeous blonde is not just eye candy either. She is well-educated with a Bachelor’s from New Mexico St. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from North Texas.
Amber Leigh loves all Dallas sports teams, including the Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars, and FC Dallas.
She interviews a different Cowboys player live before every home game at the Embassy Suites in Grapevine, but she names Jason Witten as her favorite. She also hosts a pre-party with former Cowboy Kevin Smith at Duke’s Original Roadhouse in Bedford the night before a home game and tailgates with former Cowboy Everson Walls on gameday at the Fish Bone Grill.
Her love for sports was passed down from her father though she credits cheerleading as an influential factor. “Moving to North Texas has definitely increased my ability to be a sports fan because I can go to sporting events just as easily as I can go to movie theaters; I love it!” she said.
The 2005 Thanksgiving game between the Cowboys and the Denver Broncos was her most memorable fan experience. Although Dallas lost to Denver 24-21 in overtime, Amber said, “The atmosphere of the game was unforgettable. The loss was bittersweet because the Broncos play second fiddle in my heart.”
As for her relationship status, she said, “I’m not married so anything is fair game, right?” Boys, if you want a chance with Amber Leigh, make sure you fit her description of the ideal boyfriend: “He would have to treat me like a princess. I think every girl deserves a guy who gives her a reason to believe in fairy tales.”
She loves professional sporting events and even enjoys romantic dates, but she said, “I prefer the fun things. I get awkward with the cheesy stuff!” That’s pretty hot.
