#SSsports Chat Topics 4/20/11

This is an exciting week of sports with playoff action, great MLB games, and other nonsense, so let’s dig right in. As always, please follow the chat from the Twitter account @SusanShanChat. There is only one requirement: please hashtag all tweets with #SSsports. To find out more about the chat, click here. Also, be sure to check back tomorrow to see if you’ve made the highlights!

For tonight’s #SSsports Twitter Chat, we will discuss the following topics:

1. NBA: Last night’s New York Knicks at Boston Celtics playoff game drew the ire of many Knicks fans. Mike D’Antoni got outcoached in the end and Knicks players once again failed to execute with the game on the line. What can we take away from last night’s performance regarding both teams? And, can the Knicks take the next step with D’Antoni as coach?

2. MLB: Major League Baseball is taking over day-to-day operations of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Frank McCourt is about to lose the Dodgers completely and both McCourts are being investigated for tax fraud. Is there a silver lining to this mess?

3. NCAA BB: Harrison Barnes, Jared Sullinger, and Perry Jones have chosen to remain in school for another year. Kentucky’s Brandon Knight, Terrence Jones, and DeAndre Liggins have all declared for the NBA Draft but haven’t hired agents yet. Are these decisions surprising? How much does the possible lockout and new No. 1 recruiting class at Kentucky have to do with the decisions, respectively?
